Bahman Mirheidari has just returned from presenting the latest work at the IEEE International Workshop on Automatic Speech Recognition and Understanding (ASRU) which was held in December in Taipei, Taiwan. The workshop is held every two years and has a tradition of bringing together researchers from academia and industry in an intimate and collegial setting to discuss problems of common interest in automatic speech recognition and understanding. The theme for 2023 was Speech Recognition and Understanding for Wellbeing, and so it was apt that Bahman presented a poster related to the CognoSpeak project: "Identifying People with Mild Cognitive Impairment At Risk of Developing Dementia Using Speech Analysis".
